Complex window panes

Window panes constitute significant elements of a PVC window. Depending on the window dimensions and its division, window panes can cover between 25% and 95% of the window surface. That is why, the quality and properties of multiple-glazed panes determine window effectiveness in terms of thermal insulation, security and sound absorption.

Structure of complex window panes:

Our company uses glazing packs of the prestigious SAINT-GOBAIN company. The glazing packs include one-, two- or three-chamber sets. The thermoflat panes in a pack can be 4mm, 6mm or 8mm thick, divided with a steel distance frame or the so called warm frame (SGG SWISSPACER). The space between panes in a pack, in order to obtain lower heat transmission coefficient, is filled with gas – argon or krypton.

Colourful PATTERNED GLASS

The SGG DECORGLASS glass solution subtly transmits and diffuses light, but also, perfectly fits all interior design styles, both conventional and modern. Depending on a model, the SGG DECORGLASS solution can be:

edgeworked;

curved;

silvered or enamelled;

tempered or laminated for greater safety;

incorporated into laminated glass for better acoustic performance;

assembled into multiple-glazed units for higher thermal insulation.

CLIMATOP LUX

This is the first glass pane on the basis of typical float glass which gives positive energy balance (the amount of acquired solar energy is greater than the energy loss through glass).

CLIMATOP LUX meets the requirements of energy class A in all the countries where the energy class system for windows or multiple-glazed units is applied.

SWISSPACER – “warm edge spacer bar” in multiple-glazed panes

SWISSPACER is a spacer bar with higher thermal performance, giving better thermal insulation of windows thanks to reduced thermal bridge.

ENERGY EFFICIENT

Lower heating costs thanks to improved thermal insulation. The heat transfer coefficient is at least 0,1 W/m2K lower when compared to standard aluminium spacer bars.

COMFORTABLE

Better insulation performance gives higher temperatures at glass edges. This helps to prevent steam condensation at the pane edge and hence, reduces the risk of mould development around the window, which can be harmful to health.

AESTHETIC

Thanks to applying high quality organic material and the unique colour range, the SWISSPACER solution makes it possible to construct any window and any facade.

HEAT TRANSFER

Aluminium – 160 W/mK
High-grade stainless steel – 15 W/mK
Float glass – 1 W/mK
SGG SWISSPACER – 0,16 W/mK
