WINDOWS PVC – SCHÜCO PROFILES – Excellent energy efficiency through innovative technology
What You Need to Know
Corona profiles of the Schüco company allow to make top quality windows. They are available in three different styles: Classic, Rondo and Cava, with five-, six- or seven-chamber profiles and in a wide range of colours and hence, they do not cramp the freedom of designing interiors or facades.
Simplicity is beauty. The profile perfectly combines harmonious shapes and attractive price. It is used in both detached houses and classic multi-family buildings.
Subtle shape. The profile with a slightly convex and light casement line optically narrows the already thin window profiles. The product is a combination of the inspiring design, attractive price and excellent thermal insulation.
Modern and warm. The slightly concave and unique geometry of the casement line makes the optical division more visible and contributes to the noble appearance of window frames. The design is very popular among the architects who value creativity.
Classic form at the highest level. Classic form in accordance with the expectations of modern architecture. High durability of used materials and maximum energy efficiency make it possible to design spacious interiors filled up with light, which are particularly popular in modern buildings.
Subtle form at the highest level. Despite high durability of the used materials and excellent thermal properties of the window, its frame profiles are subtle and narrow, allowing more light into the interior. The profiles are perfect for modern, spacious and energy-efficient constructions.
CLASSIC Window Systems – simple and elegant windows for each building
Basic energy-saving features of CLASSIC Windows:
Profile depth for the frame and for the wing = 70 mm
only a narrow fragment of the frame is visible in standard profile combinations frame/casement 120mm
classic casement design
the use of retro beads and aluminium covers allow for a wide range of possibilities for this system in antique or listed buildings
aluminium covers on the frame and the wing allow for a wide variety of colours
5- chamber casement profile with good heat-insulating qualities and rigid construction at an attractive price
ROTO NT fittings as standard
Modern grey seals made of EPDM in white profiles and black seals in profiles with veneer
depending on profile combination and glazing type, it is possible to obtain a heat transmission coefficient for the entire window Uw at the level of approx. 1.2 W/(m2K) for a complex window with the standard glass pane (heat transmission coefficient Ug=1.0 W/(m2K).
Two examples are provided below:
for a single window 1200 x 1500 it is possible to obtain Uw = 1,35 W/(m2K)
for a sliding door 3600×2200 we can achieve 1,26 W/(m2K)
depending on profile combination and the glazing type, one can obtain a noise suppression coefficient Rw for the entire window at the level of over 40 dB.
Please note that the window panes are the key factor affecting heat-saving parameters, therefore the use of triple-glazing for the Classic system assure approximately the same parameters as for CT70 CAVA windows. However, we recommend CT70 CAVA or SI82 RONDO / SI82 CLASSIC windows for triple-glazing.
RONDO Window Systems – a subtle and decorative shape for sophisticated needs
Basic energy-saving features of RONDO Windows:
Basic energy-saving features of RONDO Windows:
Profile depth for the frame and for the wing = 78 mm
only a narrow fragment of the frame is visible in standard profile combinations frame/casement 120mm
geometry of the casement (a semi-circular option)
smoothly lined exterior meets sophisticated design requirements
5 – chamber casement profile with good heat-insulating qualities and rigid construction
ROTO NT fittings as standard

CAVA Window Systems – modern and energy-saving windows
Basic features of SOLID windows:
profile depth = 70 mm for the frame (5 chambers) and 82 mm for the wing
innovative geometry of the casement (wing – concave-type) giving both a lightness and attractiveness to the whole construction
the bold lined exterior meets sophisticated design requirements
only a narrow fragment of the frame is visible, in standard profile combinations frame/casement 120mm.
an increased profile depth allows better security against burglaries
6 chamber casement profile with a rigid structure and optimum heat-insulating qualities
ROTO NT fittings as standard
Depending on profile combination and the glazing type one can obtain a noise suppression coefficient Rw for the entire window at the level of over 40 dB. Please note! For a small additional charge, we have an offer worthy of recommendation to all troubled by noise – these are CAVA windows with the glass pane 6-12-3-12-4 – the different pane thicknesses increase the noise suppression coefficient from 31 to 35 dB!
Window CAVA measurementsUw with glazing Ug=1,0 W/(m2K)Uw with glazing Ug=0,7 W/(m2K)Uw with glazing Ug=0,5 W/(m2K)
Single window 1200×15001,35 W/(m2K)1,13 W/(m2K)0,94 W/(m2K)
Sliding door 3600×22001,26 W/(m2K)0,97 W/(m2K)0,76 W/(m2K)
The aforementioned examples illustrate the following fact: the use of triple 0.5 glazing can reduce heat loss through windows by up to 65% as compared to standard 1.0 glazing! So it is possible to conclude that window panes, and not window frames, are the key factor affecting heat-saving parameters. It should be noted however, that the use of triple glazing requires rigid profiles, reinforced with steel minimum 2.0mm thick, as well as reinforced fittings capable of supporting heavier casements.

Scandinavian Windows – Schüco Alu Inside Nordic
Schüco Alu Inside Nordic
The System has been suited specially for Scandinavian and Northern German market. The characteristic feature of this system is the fact that the windows open outwards and are of the highest stability and perfect parameters of thermal insulation.
The system allows the production of windows with region-specific bolections, stylish glazing beads and special fittings (ASSA ABLOY) of different ways of opening, such as splaying out, Top-Hung or Top-Swing. The system of Schüco Alu Inside Nordic window is certified by Danish Technological Institute.
